Who we are.

At the Mad Cow Vape House, we pride ourselves on providing the best quality vaping products and service for anyone who is thinking of quitting smoking or already has done. We only supply products that have been created professionally and are traceable to source. We take the same “high standard” approach to our customer’s data, we do it correctly! We don’t believe in selling or exchanging any of our lists or customer details. But in case you don’t believe what we are saying is true, we have set out this privacy policy, which gives you detailed information on what, when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it and when we must disclose it to others. We also explain how we keep it secure.

Cookies and how we use them.

We may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. They enable us:

• To estimate our audience size and usage pattern.
• To store information about your preferences, and so allow us to customise our site according to your individual interests.
• To speed up your searches.

Google Analytics.

When someone visits www.madcowvaping.com we use a third-party service called Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Our Mailing Lists.

We have areas on our website that enable you to sign up for our newsletters about promotions and offers we are running either in-store or online. We also like to occasionally inform you of new products that we have just started stocking. The only information we need from you is your full name and email address. Also, at this point, you will be able to choose which lists you want to sign up for.

If you sign up to our in-store loyalty scheme at any of our stores, we will need to take your full name and email address, to ensure loyalty points are credited to the correct accounts, you will be asked at this point if you are happy to receive any promotional emails from our company. If you state at this point you are happy to receive emails from us, we will sign you up to all of our mailing lists, but fear not, you can change your preferences at any time, see below for how to do this.

We use a third-party provider called MailChimp, to deliver our newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletters. You can change which lists you want to be subscribed to at any time of the day or night by clicking the update preferences link in any of our emails. You can also completely unsubscribe from all of our lists by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing info@madcowvaping.com.

Partners who share our information.

Any information you enter at www.madcowvaping.com at the checkout process is stored on our servers, we only keep your address details and any products you have purchased from us, your credit or debit card is processed by Paypal. You can see their privacy policy here.

If you subscribe to our mailing list, your full name and email address will be held on Mailchimp’s servers. You can view their privacy policy here.

If you sign up to our in-store loyalty scheme you name and email address will be held on our till systems, which are provided by Eposnow. They hold the data on their secure servers which are accessible via our till system.

Access to your information.

You are entitled to view, amend or request a delete of any personal information we hold about you at any time. We will respond with in 48 hours. Please contact our data protection officer Ben Edwards by email info@madcowvaping.com.
